With a history of more than 15 years, SOHA as a School of Healing Arts offer qualify vocational and academic TCM education. TCM refers to both traditional Chinese medicine and traditional and complementary medicine. SOHA embarked on this journey in TCM education conducting Chinese medicine dispensing courses in year 2000.
SOHA delivers both TCM certification and TCM non-certification programmes to cater to the differing needs and interest of the masses. Some take TCM certification courses such as our WSQ Full Body Massage without oil, WSQ Basic Chinese Massage, WSQ Provide Hand & Foot Reflexology and WSQ Provide Seated Chair because they want to build a career in TCM therapy and wellness. For those more serious ones, we also arrange attachment to TCM registered practitioners who will act as mentors to deepen their skills and knowledge in workplace applications where they will see and experience first hand how the TCM specialist treat disorders ranging from musculo-skeletal to internal issues. Singaporeans can tap on skillsfuture credit to defray part of the mentoring fee under the course - Chinese Tuina Skills Training course
Those who are not pursuing TCM certification courses usually take our TCM life skills series consisting of short duration courses ranging from body guasha, meridian massage, foot reflexology essential, hand reflexology, TCM dietary therapy and Kid Tuina Massage, many of which are supported with Skillsfuture credit which is applicable for Singaporeans.
